Pirelli is based in Milan, Italy and so it’s no surprise that it is seen as the ‘haute couture’ of the tyre brands. They are also the 5th largest tyre manufactuer in the world. Founded in 1872, the company initially specialized in rubber and derivative processes and also made scuba diving rebreathers. There after they primarily focused on tyres and have been associated with some of the world’s greatest car models.
